Practical ways to contribute HAGAR is looking for volunteers who are skilled in graphic design and those who are able to provide translation assistance at the therapy programmes and training sessions for our beneficiaries.
If you have at least 1 weekday or half a weekend to spare, and wish to make a difference in the lives of exploited women and children, why not volunteer with us?

For volunteers who are providing direct help to beneficiaries, through befriending services, counselling, group therapy, training and translation assistance, you will be introduced to HAGAR’s work through briefing and training sessions. The most recent introduction session for new volunteers took place on 20 January 2018 and attracted a wonderful group of passionate individuals with strong skill sets and very importantly, a generous heart to give.

Volunteers play such an important role by being an extension of HAGAR. Be it by being a friend to our clients, helping with translation, drafting articles, helping with photography or logistics at events, there are many practical ways for a person to contribute your time and skills.
